The project Civil media in service of social activation of the seniors /SASME+/ is supported by the Erasmus+ programme of the European union.

In regard with the contemporary context of demographic, social and cultural changes, imposed in the European Union (EU) and Turkey, socioeconomic problems arising are intensified by a rapidly aging population. The project aims to create conditions to foster active participation of seniors in social and economic life, by introducing the SASME+ training program – a complex educational and social activation campaign (which features a special European Senior Card). The whole program is supported by the digital and traditional citizen media – the European Senior Voice.
